P.S. read at your own risk. will contain major spoilers.
okay. not another crime/police drama, that's what i'll usually say. but surprisingly, Shinzamono is one of those dramas that will make you ask for more. as for me, i make sure that the drama is finished before i watch it, i really hate waiting and i love marathons. so from watching episode 1 i know that they'll never reveal the real culprit until the last episode. what makes it interesting is how the character/s in every episode is/are connected to the victim/crime, and what lies they'll make up to protect themselves or someone else.
i must say that Abe Hiroshi deserves an award for his acting here. i don't know why he didn't receive one! his portrayal as Detective Kaga was really good, for me, yeah. the way he'll pop up somewhere unexpected, staring at you will make me jump off my shoes. it's creepy.
another thing i love about this drama is the absence of annoying supervisors telling the main characters to fuck off the case despite the fact that they were the ones really solving the crime, which is really common in every police/crime dramas i've seen before.
My Ratings: i'll give this one 8.5/10 stars :)
