Synopsis:
The sexy, talented and polished Hayakawa Masayoshi once enjoyed tremendous popularity as a member of the red-hot rock band 'Under Cloud', sold millions of records at the pinnacle of his career and topped the rankings for the man that women most want to be hugged by. But ever since a spat with his bandmates caused the band to break up 13 years ago, he has slid into oblivion, forgotten by society. It is because his songs after the split became ego trips. His regular job now is a live 30-min radio show from 5.00 am in the morning and has the occasional fan meeting. That is how his life has has been going, but he has a relatively satisfactory life sticking to his favourite music genre of rock. Even so, he enjoys the path he has taken. Then one day, he gets saddled with family and his selfish thoughts and way of life slowly starts to change. Through this, he also gradually becomes a person who shows compassion to those around him and this even influences his songwriting.

p.s. read at your own risks. major spoilers coming up.
i didn't know Joe's got a drama last season. i just found out when i read somewhere that it was cut due to low ratings. i was like "what? it's Odagiri Joe!" okay i had lots of faith on him. XD i never read the synopsis, i just saw the photo up there and thought maybe he was a teacher. okay, sorry. the title says it all, it's a family drama, not about a super handsome teacher. XD
i was shocked to see his hairstyle. guess he got that especially for this role. too bad. but it looks good on him. drama's got a lot of loopholes from the start. if a kid comes to my house (suppose i'm a guy) and said that he/she's my daughter/son and the only evidence is a word from the mother (and a guitar pick), the first thing i'm going to do is bring him/her to get a DNA test. i mean it would be harsh to do that but that's the right thing to do. it'll be harder for the kid if ever i am not really his/her father. like what happened to Kokoro. Joe's character's REALLY has a big heart. but i guess that's the most humane thing to do at that moment. what i can't understand the most is the old guy. i was expecting that he was Joe's character's long lost father. it was logical to think that. but he wasn't he was just a random guy, helping Kokoro who happened to abandon his own son long time ago, who was almost the same age as Joe's character, and decided to live with Joe's character and the kids.
what i mean is that i don't really get this drama. XD ah yea, maybe they were trying to convey the feelings of an irresponsible guy who suddenly became a father in the midst of misfortunes.

My Ratings: i give this 7/10 :)
