p.s. major spoilers coming up.
at first i was like, who would make a drama about tax collectors? and then i hit my head and came back to reality. Japanese entertainment, they make dramas/movies about anything and everything.
i like the what they did in the first half, one case in an episode overlapping a big case that stretched for 5 eps. i thought they'll do something like that again in the 2nd half but instead they did that dying-because-the-tax-collector-pressured-them-to-pay-up-taxes thing. that almost happened in the first ep too, but it wasn't a big of a deal back then. i hate the loopholes in other cases. like the 3 sisters' inheritance case. why would you take the 2 elder sis' taxes from the youngest sis and the mother when you can seize their property? hello?? or maybe i was just not paying attention again and missed a thing about their law?
anyways. i still enjoyed watching this. the cinematography is perfect. Kagami reminds me so much of Sherlock. the arrogance, the voice, they bossiness. and that girl who played Nanbu, i thought she was Korean at first. and then i realized i watched her in some other dramas before and she doesn't look like that!
My Ratings: i'll give this 8/10 :)
