Synopsis:

     Hayami Keigo is a promising young heart surgeon at a university hospital, but is made to examine patients at a clinic in the mountains during summer on the orders of his superior. At a harsh environment 2,000 m above sea level, there is a very small quantity of testing equipment and medicine. It is a culture shock and setback for Keigo who is active in advanced medical care and the use of cutting-edge equipment. This is a place detached from modern medical care where doctors make all diagnoses by touching, looking at and talking to patients. Koyama Haruka was raised by parents who ran a mountain lodge, but when she was 5, her mother died in an accident on the mountains. That influenced her to become a nurse in Tokyo. However, one day, an incident prompts her to escape from Tokyo and return to the mountain lodge. It is the same time that Keigo arrives at the clinic.

     i thought this drama was a bit stupid at first. you're a doctor, getting assigned for the first time in a clinic somewhere up in the mountains. it's a clinic that your hospital sponsored for 30yrs. and this stupid doctor doesn't know anything about the clinic. nor anyone briefed him about how the clinic works before he comes up there or even when he arrived there. and then he gets shocked about all the things lacking and when there was an emergency and a nurse had to instruct him of everything. oh and that said nurse wanted to quit being a nurse cox a kid died apparently cox the hospital she's working at didn't admit him and blamed herself for that. is this drama for real? i hate it in medical dramas when a nurse/doctor/any medical personnel quits or blames him/herself when a patient dies on them. YOU CAN'T SAVE EVERYONE. YOU CAN'T CURE EVERYTHING. unless you made a mistake (medical malpractice) i think everyone in the medical field are always reminded that somewhere someday someone will die on them and they can't do anything about that.
      ranting 2 posts in a row. lols. anyways, this drama improved. thank gawd. atleast Mukai Osamu's face isn't annoying. and the actress who played Haruka looks a bit like Mizusawa Asami. another rant, when Hayami-sensei's gf broke up with him. i mean, girl, can't you be just a supporting gf? do you really have to break up over 'he doesn't have time for me anymore'? oh well, that's her choice. oh and i love Tokito Saburo! totally loved him in Soredemo, Ikite Yuku too. i want to watch him in a comedy sometime.
